Rest In Peace Andre Young Jr.
Our condolences goes out to his family and love ones.
Saddest thing is, we should never have to lay our seeds to rest.
Freestylesession 11 is over but theres still a few bboy crews still chillen in CALI. Joyewx LouFOCKS was nice enough to take a picture and bust a few poses! All of them were shoe heads, thanks for cleaning us out!

Today we were slammed with a lot of consignment, happy that it was mostly jordans!

We just got all these forces in a size 11, all brand new, for a low low price of $60.00 a pop!
Check out the FIRST G-units by Reebok, must cop if your down with G-UNIT!
By the way, we need a new computer chair. Who ever wants to donate one, we will definitely appreciate it !

I had over 10 cats ask me why I wasn't @ Magic.
I have 5 reasons why I'm not @ the Magic Tradeshow.
1.I don't work for a "streetwear" boutique (not in the industry).
2.I get enough FREE shirts.
3.I don't have cool clothes to show off.
4.I don't feel like sweating my ass off.
5.I really just don't give a fuck about it.
but RIF did receive a lot of new shoes, so if your not @ Magic, swing by RIF and buy some shoes.

Some AJ 5s from size 8.5-9. I put worn ( very good ) but most of these can pass for "near deadstock"

Those hot pink xis are too clean.
The ISS sneakerheads came together today for a little summit going around all the shops in Los Angeles. They went from Melrose, Fairfax, to La Brea and lastly all the way to East 2nd St in Downtown Los Angeles, Little Tokyo.
I will have to make sure I'm at the next summit!

Foundnation, bboy crew from Japan, is in town for Freestylesession 11 which is being held in Santa Monica this Saturday and Sunday. Bboy crews from all over the world come down once a year for this event, to battle with other crews to win the grand prize of $25,000.00!
Foundnation came in looking for some fresh kicks to break in, these cats were mad energetic and nice, we wish them LUCK for this weekends battle.
We were able to get a short clip of them, but we'll post that in a bit.
Also one of the jabbawockeez was in the building! jk haha
Enjoy some clips of them, and if your going to Freestylesession 11, make sure to root for them.

Tomorrow there will be a little concert in Little Tokyo right around the corner from RIF. There will be live performances, raffles, giveaways, and RALPH will be there.
He came by the shop today to remind us to roll tomorrow. Also he wanted to show off his recent t-shirt pickup. He said no more headshots, got his @ss anyways haha.

Big Mikey was in the Neighborhood, Finishing up his 8th session at Onizuka Tattoo, here in Little Tokyo. Jiro, the head tatoo artist at Onizuka specializes in traditional Japanese Art.

Freestyle Session 11 is this weekend, Saturday & Sunday, August 23rd & 24th! In spirit of the event, my crew has teamed up with UNDFTD for a special limited run of Tshirts. Only 500 will be produced and will be available at all UNDFTD locations as well as online (www.undftd.com). Massive Monkees has been holding it down for over 10 years strong. We never rep with any other crews, we never change our members - same dope dancers forever dancing as a single unit. Either support us or see you in the finals!

If you grew up in the nineties and followed Hip-Hop Culture and watched shows such as New York Undercover, Martin, or listened to Nasty Nas, Notorious Big, and Tupac then you are sure to recognize the brand Karl Kani. Karl Kani is the God-father of urban street wear and he is partially responsible for what "street wear" is today.
Well Karl Kani stopped by the shop to copp some kicks and chat it up for a bit. Genuinely nice and intelligent dood. He has more than 3 shops in Japan and is on the righteous path of brand revival.

Today I was OFF! Went down to Buffalo Exchange in the city of Long Beach. Great place to sell your clothing/shoes/accessories/etc, I believe they offer you half of whatever they charge in the store..i think. If you look hard enough, sometimes you'll come across some steals and deals here and there or you might just spot a FAKE pair of shoes!

Couple random pictures I took, I'm not a photographer as you can see. I keep it on automatic all day, everyday, if anyone wants to drop some knowledge on me about taking pictures..that would be dope!
I got a dumb ticket! In the City of Cerritos, you can't have your ride parked in any neighborhood streets between 3am-5am, doesn't that suck. The "ticket dude" who does runs on Danielle Ave in Cerritos, you are a DOUCHE!
Also this dude is a DOUCHE for coming into RIF with some FAKES, I had to personally escort this dude out.
Big ups to Maurice from Twelvebar for coming down to the shop and dropping us off some dope shirts. One of the coolest cats we met while working @ RIF, thanks dude! Also check out their website, their Fall 08 line is looking clean. I rarely ever wear anything "streetwear", but Twelve Bar is definitely on a different level, clean tees and clean cut n sews, can't go wrong!
