"without struggle, there is no progress."

As the end of the year nears, you all know that RIF will be releasing a few clothing pieces to commemorate our long standing service for those who have stayed faithful to RIF Los Angeles.

Our production is nearing its end, and it will be interesting to see our transformation from a not only a shoe boutique but a branded line.

Our future plans are currently pre-mature but as Frederick Douglas stated,

"without struggle there is no progress."

here are a few pics to keep you all on the edge of your seats.

SEAMS l LONG BEACH

So today I dropped by my favorite street in Long Beach, which is First Street located in Downtown Long Beach. First St. is the home of Seams, Proper, and Black Market, three stores that meet everyones needs. I had very little time, so my main focus was Seams, the sister store of East 4th Skate shop.

They have the longest list when it comes to accounts, such as nike sb, supra, vans, rayban, nikon, rayban, brixton, hellzbellz, stussy, recon, wesc, and the list goes on!!!Its like a smaller Active, but its an actual "Moms and Pops" shop that many locals support. Stepping in this store reminds me of the boutiques in Japan, a ridiculous amount of product mixed in 2 levels.  Also the art inside are on of a kind pieces!

Head to their website for daily updates of new arrivals.

My cousin RYAN REYES

This is the dude who put me on Dunks back when I only use to rock jordans, kswiss, and pumas. He plays pro basketball in Philippines and hes sponsored by Nike.

JEFFS IN JAPAN PART III

Due to me being extremely tired and lazy after my last day in Japan, I apologize for not posting my last day, so I thought I would make up for it and make this last post.
Since it was my last day in Japan, I had planned to go to some spots in Kichijoji, then Ogikubo, then Shibuya, then Ueno, then Aoyama, but there was a change in plans unfortunately.

It started raining too hard out of nowhere, nothing Ive ever seen!

Random shots of my hotel, pretty damn nice!

After resting for a little bit, me and Watabe headed to Ogikubo

These kids are as young as 6 and they are freely roaming Japan, going to school, eating lunch, etc.  Watabe said that its TOO SAFE in Tokyo, and that nothing ever happens.

Future La Avenue worker.
Had to grab some Mcdonalds on the way.

Beating up Visvims like nothing....

Heres some pictures of my pickups, I just had to pick up some older jordans

This is how you wrap a shoe.

ICEY 99 RETRO Vs

Had a little free time, so I went around the corner to grab some REAL TAKOYAKI! TOO GOOD DAYO!!!!

This is #1 G-SHOCK Buyer in TOKYO!!!

THESE GUYS ARE TOO " okashi " MAN!

My favorite drink in Japan, FANTA with  JELLY.  I bought about 10 can that day.
