Summer is in FULL swing and with the ladies scantly clad, late sunsets, and Converses' in full sneaker rotation you know the only thing missing is THAT Summer song you can listen to in your ride or while just chillin' with your people.

SO if there was a list of SONGS necessary for the RIF Summer Time playlist, it would go something like this:

Each song has ITS proper occasion/location. i.e. you wouldn't wear dress shoes to the beach, Nike Cortez in East LA or FAKE Nikes at RIF.

 Our work at RIF revolves around you, our customers and supporters. Though to the naked eye RIF may appear to be a regular sneaker boutique there is a whole different dynamic with our business. essentially we sell YOUR sneakers while simultaneously buy, answer questions, send back shoes, inform those needing info all while being patient with those obnoxious clients . Here at RIF we wear multiple hats and need to be proficient handling any and all situations

The overwhelming amount of shoes masks what it is we essentially do. SERVICE all your sneaker needs.

Like the sneakers here at RIF we meet and encounter an eclectic assortment of personalities and people.

At the end of the day the bottom-line is still very important but our real enjoyment comes from meeting ALL of you and conversing about something we all share, the passion for footwear.

SENOR.

Gratification is one of LIFES goals/guilty pleasures. Its part of human nature to satisfy needs and wants. (though selfish at times) Here at RIF many of our customers including ourselves have THAT gratifying feeling when we finally acquire our sneaker Grails or that Nike release that was SOLD OUT. Sometimes our gratification comes with a sale of a sneaker. Whatever it maybe, at times our gratification is selfish.

Its SAD that we find our contentment with this materialism and our fetishes at times overshadow whats sincerely important in our lives.  Relationships.

At the end of the day when we shut RIF's doors we sometimes neglect whats genuinely meaningful, our bonds. And when at home continue to fill contentment with latest news of a sneaker release or whats playing on netflix.

HERE at RIF its unanimous that one of the MOST Gratifying parts of our work hours are the RELATIONSHIPS/BONDS we make with YOU our supporters and MOST importantly relationships with friends and family.

The Homie CARLOS has been a supporter since day one and is one of the friendships thats more meaningful than any Retro Retro of the Retro Release.

Living in southern california an automobile is not only the most convient way to get around but a necessity in our daily lives. Though Southern California is expanding its public transportation system, we are decades away from our advanced counter parts in Tokyo and New York.

There are benefits and drawbacks with owning a vehicle but its part of being a Los Angelino. 

Without automobiles in Southern California, where would the birth of Low Riders come from, where would tuned up exports illegally race, and what would WEST Coast Hip-Hop be loosely based off of, without joy riding and car stunting?

Cars in So. CAL is a right of passage for anyone turning the legal age, it not only expresses us individually but a times serves a quiet realm for us to think/relax and enjoy the great CALI weather while cruising down the BLVD ,THAT...is what public transportation will never have.

There are some of us here at RIF that take pride in automobiles more specifically "Handles" Tapley. He entered into the "right of passage" a few months ago and wasted NO time aquiring an automobile and even saved up his lunch money to buy new shoes for the WHIP.

"He's riding around and gettin it" for a high school student not bad for his first car.

He calls his whip the "silver soda" quenching all the THIRST of those high school ladies. GET it HANDLES.

Although the  STANCE of his rims is meer baby steps to the RIMs shown on the Left, its a START.
